四川职业技术学院简介

四川职业技术学院是四川省人民政府主办，四川省教育厅主管，教育部备案的国家正规公办省属综合性普通高等职业院校，省级示范性高职院校建设单位。
    学院在原川北教育学院和四川省机电工程学校基础上强势合并组建而成，具有50余年大专教育历程。学院座落在国家级优秀旅游城市，四川省第二大交通枢纽遂宁市。                学院占地1060亩，是省级园林式单位。学院现有“汽车运用与维修、电子电气应用技术、机械制造、计算机应用、人文与科技训育中心”等五大实训教学中心，被教育部和交通部等六部委确定为“制造业和现代服务业紧缺人才培训培养项目”基地。现有教职工754人，其中教授13人，副高职称141人，博士、硕士研究生215人。长期聘有美、日、加、澳等国30余位专家、教授。
    学院现有40余个普通专科、10多个五年制大专及34个成招本、专科专业，有来自于全国各地的全日制在校学生10000余名，已为社会培养输送了7万余名合格毕业生，被教育部评为“人才培养工作水平评估优秀学校”。学院科研成果丰硕，在国际国内各级刊物上发表论文1400余篇，出版专著145部，国家发明专利3项，获国际国内科研成果奖150余项。
    学院建立健全了保障毕业生就业的目标管理长效机制，学生既有“专升本”机会，又可与学院签订就业协议，保证推荐就业。学生就业渠道畅通，发展前景广阔，根据中国最具公信力的教育数据咨询和评估机构“麦可思公司”对各高校毕业生的就业调查和数据分析，我院毕业生就业质量高，专业对口率和薪资待遇等均在同类院校中位居前列。学院多次被评为“四川省普通高等学校毕业生就业工作先进集体”。

Sichuan Vocational and Technical College (hereinafter called SCVTC) is a comprehensive, ordinary public provincial model vocational college sponsored by the People’s Government of Sichuan Province,conducted by the Education Department of Sichuan Province and registered in the Ministry of Education of China.

It was combined by the Northern Sichuan Education College and Sichuan Mechanical Electrical Engeering School. It is located in Suining city, the National Toursim City and the second largest transportation center of Sichuan. SCVTC, set up in 1917, has a history of 50 years. It covers an area of 1,060 mu(500 hectares)with a lot of trees and flowers and has the reputation of "Garden College ".It has five practical teaching center including : Automobile Application and Maitenance Center, Electric and Elctricity Application Technology Center, Mechnical Production Center, Computer Appliction Center, and Human and Cultural Sientific Training Center. It was assigned by the Ministry of Education of China and by the Ministry of Transportation of China as “the Training Basement for shortage of modern production industry and modern service industry pernsonnel”. It has 754 teachers and staff including 13 porfessors, 141 depute professors, 215 doctors and post graduactes and 3 to 4 foreign experts from America, England,Australia and Canada every year.

SCVTC has more than 40 ordinary subjects,10 five years system education subjects and 34 further education subjects.It has over 10000 students on the campus and has trained 70000 students for the society.It has got the titile of “Excellent College of Training Personnel” during the National Education Evaluation.It has a lot of sientific reserch results. There are 1400 essay published on the national and international magazine. It has 145 books published and has invented 3 patents and got 150 national and international awards.

SCVTC has set up a long term effective systerm to guarantee the college employment. Students either have the opportunity of going on studying undergraduate subjects or signing the agreements of employment recommended by the college. SCVTC has many employment methods and students has a prosperous future. According to the most Chinese believable education consultation data and the analyze of evaluation organization-- “Micos Company”, SCVTC has a high quality of employment and the rate of employing conterparts and the payment of the graduates stands the front position in the same level colleges in Sichuan. It has got the awards of “Advanced Unit of College Employment of Sichuan” for many times.
